It had been a long night. Sleeping on a couch, something he'd never done before, was the most uncomfortable thing he'd ever done in his life. Well, maybe not THE most uncomfortable, but it was up there on the 'never going to do again' scale. The couch was too short and his legs were jammed up on him. He was forced to sleep in the fetal position all night and Callum had left the kitchen sliding doors open so it was a bit chilly. And on top of that he was upset with Brian over something he'd said and not realized he'd said.
Needless to say, he'd slept, but not good enough.
So there he was, sitting in a long chair on his balcony at four in the evening, wrapped in a blanket and nodding off. He just wanted to avoid Brian and not talk to him. As long as possible. Just five minutes, he kept thinking, and he'd move before Brian got home.
